In November 2020, my Korean ESL students (ages 9 to 14) made colorful hand turkeys during a lesson on American Thanksgiving. The “feathers” of their turkeys featured different things the children gave thanks for. Good health, family, and friends were common among each list; but some of their feathers had unique mentions.
